RENTING SIGHT UNSEEN
Unable to tour the apartment? You can arrange for a friend to schedule a viewing in person. MAKING AN APPLICATION A completed application is required. There are no application or screening fees. MOVE IN COSTS There is no fees charged for move-in. At the signing of lease, a deposit and last moth rent is required. When you pick up your key your first month rent (or of moving mid month a pro-rated amount) is due. TENANT UTILITIES Tenants are responsible for their own electricity, gas (heat, hot water, fireplace and stove), cable and telephone charges. As a green building using high efficiency sustainable technology, low energy usage costs are expected. Tenant is not responsible for water, property taxes, trash or recycling costs. We recommend renters insurance. PARKING POLICY A dedicated parking space is included for each apartment. Most downtown parking is free on street with some metered parking on the main thoroughfares. There are approximately 1,750 spaces in the overall downtown area. PET POLICY We allow certain breeds of dogs and all domestic cats. Please contact us for a specific list. Vaccination certificates, local authority licenses and personal liability insurance is required. There is an additional Pet Rental Charge of $25 per month. RENTERS INSURANCE Renters insurance is recommended however, not required. - See the newspaper article Calling All Renters. Standard renter's insurance policy is usually $80-$200/year depending on the amount of coverage needed. Personal liability Insurance with a minimum $300,000 is required for pet owners. BUILDING SECURITY All entrances are accessed by security keypad using a key fob or personal access code. Each apartment has video entry control system for remote door unlocking for guest access. CCTV cameras are located throughout the public areas inside and outside the building. STORAGE IN THE BUILDING The apartment provide ample storage with numerous closets for everyday needs. There is currently no additional storage in the building. RECYCLING AND ZERO-WASTE TRASH The intent is to make the block a zero-waste. While we get the program up and running we provide full trash removal and recycling. SMOKING POLICY Smoking or vaping is prohibited inside the building and in all outdoor areas including the walkways, car parking and patio areas. ONLINE PAYMENTS Payments can be made online at the redpm web site. |
